The Revenant starring Leonardo DiCaprio: Official Teaser Trailer

The intense teaser trailer for The Revenant has been released. Leo looks nothing like his usual gorgeous glam self, instead he is real, authentic, a little bit like the bear that mauls him, a little bit Jeremiah Johnson. The sound of the drums, the beat of DiCaprio's breath and the stunning cinematography—this is the film shot only in available light—is hearstopping and scary, breathtakingly beautiful and thrilling all at the same time.

Based on the book by Michael Punke—The Revenant: A Novel of Revenge—the film stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hardy, Domhnall Gleeson and Will Poulter. Directed by Alejandro G. Iñárritu, cinematography by Emmanuel Lubezki. The official word:
