Paddington joins Nicole Kidman in The Others in creepy internet meme

Friday the 13th? You don't bother me. But the producers of the upcoming Paddington movie based on Michael Bond's classic book might feel a bit like growling at what the net has done with their bear.

Poor old Paddington! The filmmakers released this first image of the famous Peruvian bear standing with his suitcase in front of the grounds of Buckingham Palace and just look what the internet has done with him.

Now Paddington has gone from cuddly to creepy, popping up in unexpected scary places in fan-created internet Creepy Paddington memes. 

The live-action CGI mix stars Colin Firth as the voice of Paddington with Hugh Bonneville and Sally Hawkins as the Browns, his adoptive family. The top tier cast includes Nicole Kidman as the villain, along with Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, and Peter Capaldi. 

Will the kidlets forget the horror of these images and flock to theaters this Christmas? I think they will. Check out the trailer below and see what a mess one little bear can make of a bathroom.
