Listening to the composer talk about the character's themes and collaborating with the director in that gorgeous French accent is addictive and almost as mesmerizing as his music. I imagine reclining on some stuffed sofa while he writes film scores, hammering them out on a near-by piano, perhaps humming here and there. HE is music to my ears. Sit back with a caffe au lait and maybe some pain du chocolat and listen to the compilation video created by ScoreLover99 .

I can't help but bust out the superlatives; his music moves me, the light bell-like tones in arresting contrast to his haunting darker phrases, he makes a kind of magic that feels sacred and unknowable. Oh my, I'm done in! Don't miss the short edited interview.
