Five Fiction Finalists: The National Book Award 2012

I'm watching the National Book Award finalists being announced on Morning Joe right now - about 5:30ish am in L.A. Don't ask but no I didn't wake up especially to watch it. I'm really not crazy or that devoted a blogger. I just couldn't sleep.
It's a shame how quickly they are glossing over the announcement though, especially since they have the exclusive announcement rights! A little tough even to hear the list with their chatter in the foreground ...
