The Hunger Games on the cover of The Hollywood Reporter

I just started Suzanne Collins The Hunger Games and am surprised to find I'm enjoying it. The movie comes out March 23, which,  according to the film's website, is 42 days, 14 hours and 21 minutes from this writing!

It seems like the entire Hollywood industry is counting down to the release of the Hunger Games with fingers crossed for its success. 

Everyone is banking on this $90million flick, hoping it gets young people back in the theatre.

I was struck by this Hollywood Reporter cover and wanted to share the inside scoop which includes a video. Ah, the magic of movie marketing!

The Hollywood Reporter got up-close-and-personal with the stars of The Hunger Games Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson and director Gary Ross. during the photo shoot for the cover.
Shot at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA, Ross talked shop in between takes.

"It’s a wonderful feeling when you’re part of a collective experience," he said of Games' enormous -- and dedicated -- fan base. "Normally you’re making a movie and there’s a certain amount of obscurity and you hope that people find it, but the fact literally you get to share this with everybody who is already connected to the story and you’re part of something bigger. It’s a blast.”
