The Hollywood Reporter Roundtables: The Writers

I posted a snippet from the Writers’ Roundtable back in January; today I’ve got the full Hollywood Reporters roundtable featuring writers of some of the year’s most acclaimed screenplays: Allison Schroeder who adapted the nonfiction book Hidden Figures—one of this year’s nominees in the Writing/Adapted Screenplay category, Tom Ford who tranformed Austin Wright’s Tony & Susan into Nocturnal Animals which he also directed and Noah Oppenheim whose script for Jackie began with extensive research about Jackie Kennedy before, during and after the president’s assasination. Kenneth Lonergan (Manchester by the Sea) and Taylor Sheridan (Hell or Highwater) whose original screenplays are both Oscar nominees and the great Pedro Almadovar (Julietaround out the panel.
