Rebecca Ferguson Cast as Anna in 'The Girl on the Train'

I read Paula Hawkin’s The Girl on the Train faster than, oh I don't know, a bullet train speeds through Japan? I was thrilled when I heard Emily Blunt had been cast as Rachel. Blunt was particularly outstanding opposite Tom Cruise in The Edge of Tomorrow

Now I'm wondering if Tom Cruise is some sort of talisman, if working with him is the key to success, because the latest The Girl on the Train news is that Rebecca Ferguson, the scene stealing actress who costarred opposite Cruise in Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation has been cast as Anna.

As the character is written as blonde, I'd been thinking blonde actors ala JoAnne Froggatt, Carey Mulligan or Emilia Clarke but hair color isn't vital and Ferguson can always go blonde again like she did in The White Queen. I'm assuming she's naturally a brunette, as she looks like what we used to call a classic winter, coloring wise.

Either way, Ferguson is fantastic, real, subtle, incredibly charismatic and compelling. She'll make a great Anna. Now all we need is Megan. Any other Tom Cruise female co-stars that would strike the right note? Ideas?
