'The Secret in their Eyes' : Behind the Scenes with Julia Roberts, Nicole Kidman and Chiwetel Ejiofor

Okay, so I know just by looking at my stats that you guys are really into the remake of The Secret in Their Eyes starring two of the biggest movie stars around; Julia Roberts and Nicole Kidman plus the exciting and edgy Chiwetel Ejiofor.

I know that you are, because while you haven't said anything—not a word, not one little comment—a lot of you have been reading my post on The Secret in Their Eyes putting it near the top of the Popular Posts column for the last couple of weeks. Seems like a no brainer to feature a couple of pictorials I found on youtube for this week's Slack Sunday video. Not exactly the usual Slacker Sunday video but it'll do, I hope. Some ambitious soul, a fan, has found some pictures from the set and coupled them with some totally unrelated, but certainly entertaining music.

The Secret in Their Eyes, a remake of the Argentinian film,  El Secreto de Sus Ojos based on the novel by Eduardo Sacheri is being shot here in Los Angeles and in Pasadena with filming locations that include Santa Anita Racetrack, and the Los Angeles Central Library, where that Islamic tile mosaic above is found. Directed and written by Billy Ray (Captain Phillips, The Hunger Games) The Secret in their Eyes* will be released October 23, 2015. Mr. Ray is making some changes to the original, read about 'em on my original post.

Isn't it funny what we fans will do? Have you seen the fan videos featuring their own reactions to the Star Wars trailer? How about the one of Matthew McConaughey reacting to the Star Wars trailer? Some enterprising soul has taken a clip from McConaughey's performance in Interstellar and inter-cut it with the Star Wars trailer to hilarious effect. Even though this is strictly a books-to-movie site, I've included that below, just for a lark.

* For some idiotic reason I got the idea that the remake was being renamed Shattered Glass. It's not, that's an old Billy Ray film.
