Audrey Tatou gets in the Mood Indigo July 18

I've been sharing news about Michel Gondry's Mood Indigo since I first learned about the adaptation of the Boris Vian novel Froth on the Daydream  a year or so ago. I'm shocked to say we are finally getting a real distribution date here in the states; July 18th. The film, from the director of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind has been trimmed by thirty minutes since its' French debut last year and as you can see, we have a bright new poster.
Here's the oldie; I like the floaty look which fits with the story of the wealthy inventor (Romain Duris) in love with the sickly Audrey Tautou. And while I've shared the trailer before, I think this newest one released this past week is the best yet. The music is fantastique!

  1. It certainly is very odd, I think I remember you showing us that before. It has enough of Paris that I'd go see it, but I'm not sure how I'd like it.

  2. Sim, Thanks for reminding us about this movie. Did they change the title too? I think it looks like a fun movie.
