A little obsessed with movies based on books. What's your favorite adaptation? Let's talk about our mutual fixation.
Looks like Russel is one promising new star. Good to keep these memories alive. BTW, Cloud Atlas is showing in our city, but I hesitate about going, the 2 hr. 40 mins. length sounds too draining for me... and having had to tie all the stories together, haven't read the book either. ;)
Thanks for stopping by Arti. Not sure that you would need the book or that the book would even help. I don't think it will do that well at the old b.o. ... a little out there for most, I think. Are you excited for Anna? It's coming soon!
That's quite a difference from the 2-year-old batman to the grown up one. The makeup on the arm is gross though. I'm sure he'd take that as a compliment. Here's Mine
Of course he would Paulita...you know how the boys are.
They sure grow up quickly, don't they?
Too quickly right.
I guess Russell has remained true to Batman all these years. Cool & Happy Halloween!
yes, he's still inspired by his heroism.
Yikes! I hope the bottom one is part of a Halloween costume.
He sent that to me last year when he was in New York. When I first saw it I freaked out for a half a sec thinking it was the real deal. thank heavens it wasn't!
Bear With Me...Great get up♫ Happy Halloween!
Thanks for stopping by - love the musical notes you leave.
I love photos of Halloween costumes...these are impressive. Thanks for sharing...and for visiting my blog.
Ok, that last shot was creepy! lol
The bloody holes are frightening, yes?
Can't decide which Russell is the cutest!
Awww! thank you.
Great selections of your growing boy! Love the 'gross' arm!!
That arm is a tad distracting. Thanks for visiting my blog, Barbara.
Love the bat costumes over the years! The bloody arm though--yeeuk!
No one likes the bloody arm - too disgusting.
Russell looks like he means business when it comes to Halloween! These shots remind me of Jerry Seinfeld's hilarious musings on his own adventures in Batman suits, as a kid. He tells of how he would get all gussied up and then his mom would a coat over the whole thing as he went out trick-or-treating. He laments.... making the actions of being fully zipped up, "Hey, somehow I don't remember Batman ever being in a jacket!" Too funny.Plus, he goes on to note how the package always had some disclaimer on it that said, "Caution: Do not attempt to actually fly!"Russell looks like he would have disregarded this, and given it a good shot!
That Seinfeld stuff is seriously funny - I remember my mother putting on a puffy* coat on over my princess costume. Seriously cramped my style. * (remember Jerry's puffy shirt)
That last one is realistically gross! Fun Batman comparison photos! :)
These were great --past and present.
Ah, boys never outgrow their love of the caped crusader! That arm is realistically gory.
I love that you're leaving a comment! Thanks.
