Saturday Snapshot

My son Russell at two.                               Russell as the bat.
He's always loved a good caped crusader.

STAY SAFE and HAVE A HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

  1. Looks like Russel is one promising new star. Good to keep these memories alive. BTW, Cloud Atlas is showing in our city, but I hesitate about going, the 2 hr. 40 mins. length sounds too draining for me... and having had to tie all the stories together, haven't read the book either. ;)

    1. Thanks for stopping by Arti. Not sure that you would need the book or that the book would even help. I don't think it will do that well at the old b.o. ... a little out there for most, I think.
Are you excited for Anna? It's coming soon!

  2. That's quite a difference from the 2-year-old batman to the grown up one. The makeup on the arm is gross though. I'm sure he'd take that as a compliment. Here's Mine

  12. Russell looks like he means business when it comes to Halloween!
These shots remind me of Jerry Seinfeld's hilarious musings on his own adventures in Batman suits, as a kid. He tells of how he would get all gussied up and then his mom would a coat over the whole thing as he went out trick-or-treating. He laments.... making the actions of being fully zipped up, "Hey, somehow I don't remember Batman ever being in a jacket!" Too funny.
Plus, he goes on to note how the package always had some disclaimer on it that said, "Caution: Do not attempt to actually fly!"
Russell looks like he would have disregarded this, and given it a good shot!

    1. That Seinfeld stuff is seriously funny - I remember my mother putting on a puffy* coat on over my princess costume. Seriously cramped my style. * (remember Jerry's puffy shirt)
