New Hunger Games TV spot has me wanting to see more

In case you haven't heard, advance ticket sales for The Hunger Games have already managed to break the record previously held by another young adult book series-turned money-raking movie franchise (Twilight).

And if you were wondering how all that literary violence was going to rate cinematically,  the MPAA has officially released its rating for the film - PG-13 for “intense violent thematic material and disturbing images – all involving teens.”
This is what Gary Ross has promised so presumably fans will be thrilled, especially older teens. Younger ones, not so much. If I still had a young preteen at home I might be a bit worried too!

Here's the new 60 second tv spot. I think they a great job utilizing Taylor Swift's "Safe and Sound" plus the moving image of Katniss making the ultimate sacrifice for Prim. Honestly, I got choked up! I think it looks great and am so glad I read the book, I can't wait for this to come out March 23rd!

  1. I was hoping to read the book before I saw the movie but it's not looking so good right now.
