This is Alexander Payne interviewed at the Telluride Film Festival about The Descendants. Listening to my son, who is currently at NYU and wants to be a filmmaker, I've learned to love the language of directors as they discuss their thought processes and choices. No wonder they say all actors secretly want to be directors!
